The first cross country race of the Manchester Cross Country League was a very successful one for the senior ladies’ team.
The weather was kind and the Heaton Park course as challenging as ever.
With 14 ladies able to race we had a strong team, Carmen Byrne came home first in 11th place overall closely followed by Kerrie Wood-Doyle, Jayne Lawton and Rachel Blight. This team of 4 came 4th overall in the team standings and the Veteran team came 2nd.
This is a great start to the season and everyone who attended had a great day.
