After an absence of over 5 years, Stockport Harriers were once again represented in the annual British Masters Road Relay Championships, which took place on a hilly 3-mile circuit in Sutton Park, Birmingham on 12 May.
Frank Reilly, who is returning to full race fitness following injury, claimed the silver medal for the 2nd fastest leg of the day when he handed over to Chris Bryans at the end of the first leg in the Men's 65-74 relay.
Despite running out of his 75+ age-group, Chris wasn't daunted by being handed the lead and achieved a performance at least as good as his best 5k Park Run of the year, handing over to Eric Normansell in 8th place.
Eric chased hard, putting in his best performance of the year and managed to pull the team through to a well fought 7th place.

As it was, Dave and Steve both pulled back two places, with Steve finishing the race in 12th place.
