This week Stockport Harriers opened their doors to club members, family and friends to a friendly relay event.
Based at Woodbank park, children challenged their parents to a 4x100 metre relay.
With an obvious leap between child and parent, height and strength did not seem to affect the race at all.
It turns out our star junior athletes, with their petite and powerful strides, evidently ran circles around their parents, giving the juniors a well-deserved and confident win.
What a brilliant way to send off the outdoor athletics season!
