Birchwood 10k
Report: Phil McCann - 20/8/08
Sunday 17th August at Birchwood saw another large field assemble for the Birchwood 10k with very fast times from the women. The winning lady was Jenny Blizzard of Rotherham AC in a superb time of 34-57.
This year we had a very low turnout for this event with only 4 ladies running. Our first counter home was Sarah Lomas running 39-10 close to her personal best of 39-02.
Next was Vicky Barrett completing the course in 44-42 followed close behind by Liz Turton in 46-12 which gave us 4th ladies team.
Meanwhile Natalie England on her first race back for quite some time ran 57-08.
