The club had four athletes competing at this year’s North of England Under-20/Senior Track & Field Championships held at Sportcity over two days.
Greg Watkins claimed his third title in the under-20 discus competition with a winning last throw of 41.55.
In the women’s 1,500 metre final Lucy McLoughlin finished 7th in a seasons best of 4-49.
Josh Brooking ran 12.19 in the men’s under-20s heat on the same day.
On day two Greg Watkins picked up his second medal of the championships in he shot-putt finishing 2nd with 13.44.
Rory Evans stormed to 21.92 in the senior men’s 200 metre heats which would have been good enough for 2nd in the final but after a long delay and a false start in the final Rory was seventh in 22.65.
Marathon runner Jenny Knass ran in her first ever track championships and came home with a bronze medal and a new club record in the senior women’s 5,000 metres with 17-52.
