The senior ladies fresh from their victory at the North West road relays were back in action at Birchwood Warrington in the North Of England Road Relays.
Jess Coulson got things underway for the Harriers coming home in first place on the first of the four stages around the flat fast two lap course over 4.9k, Jess had a healthy lead finishing on 15-43 handing over to Carmen Byrne anchored the team on 7th place still in touch with the leaders on 18-19.
Elle Baker stormed her way around the course to give the lead back to Stockport from Morpeth in 15-44 Kerry Wood Doyle gallantly held on for 2nd position a first ever podium position in the clubs recent history.
Fastest legs overall Lauren Howarth 15-41 Jessica Coulson 15-43, Elleanor Baker 15-44.
The men's team of Andy Nixon, Gary Bristow, James Buccleuch, Jack Morris, Dean Matkin and Adrian Nutter qualified for the National 6-stage final in October.
