Five Stockport Harriers competed in a great event at Sportcity last Sunday organised by DASH Athletics.
Three of the five had their very first experience of Indoor Athletics and four out of the five were competing for the first time in an older age group.
All the children really enjoyed the experience and learnt a lot from competing in such a fantastic event. In line with the UK Athlete development model, all the children competed in Run, Jump and Throw events.
Sofia Livesey, who was competing in the under-9 girls category achieved an excellent 3rd place overall.
Well done to William Hughes, William Culmer, Harry Miller-Reedman and Lauren Burgess for doing their very best in all events. There were some very good results from these athletes considering they were all up in age group.
