Ross Millington finished a fantastic 7th place in the Great South Run on Sunday. His 48:13 10 mile clocking is a new club record and puts him top of the UK rankings for 2014.
He was the first British Athlete home and beat 2014 European Marathon Champion Daniele Meucci from Italy and 2014 European 10,000m/5,000m medallist Andy Vernon in the very windy conditions at Portsmouth.
Ross will now go to Iten, Kenya for a month of High Altitude Training before returning home for the European Cross Country Trial at Liverpool on the 29th November and hopefully a place on the Great Britain Team for the European Championships on the 14th December in Bulgaria.
