Entries are now open for this year’s Puma Stockport 10. We will once again have chip timing and also for the first time in 10 years we have a NEW COURSE!! Whilst 80% of the course is the same, we have managed some subtle changes to keep you off some of the dull road parts. We’re sure you’ll like the changes.
The race is on Sunday 8th December at 10.00am. Please note that the RACE FULL signs for 2012’s race went up at the end of October so please do enter early to avoid disappointment. There will be no entries on the day and all race numbers and chips will be collected on the day.
Once again we have some extremely good prizes and spot prizes donated by our sponsors and we will also have a long sleeve fluorescent t-shirt again (not yellow this year!) together with our famous goody bag.
We’re currently exploring how we can possibly beat the way the race was started last year – the Olympic torch taken round the track, followed by a huge rocket and of course the Benny Hill music. We’re working on it though and I’m sure we’ll come up with something spectacular – as long as they don’t put me on the rocket!
Entries will be opening over the coming days on all the usual websites – please give the hosts time to activate them. To avoid any admin fees you can of course print off the attached entry form and send with a cheque in the post.
Enjoy the rest of the summer and we very much look forward to receiving and entertaining you at Woodbank Park in Stockport on the 8th December.
